Research Overview
The first objective of my research is to achieve a state-of-the-art understanding of OGD publication and usage. I am identifying the key factors that facilitate or hinder its adoption, exploring the interactions among various stakeholders, analyzing different types of data and their usage domains, and investigating the most important applications of OGD. In the second phase, I am describing and explaining the essential benefits, disadvantages, and risks associated with OGD. I am also examining the data life cycle and the mechanisms through which OGD creates economic, social, and political value. Additionally, I am investigating the overall impact of OGD, considering the contrasted perspectives of individual experts and practitioners, as well as analyzing relevant scientific literature using scientometric techniques. Finally, I am interested in evaluating the economic benefits at the level of individual companies.

To comprehensively study these research domains, I am systematically analyzing the scientific literature and both qualitative and quantitative primary and secondary research data. This involves examining relevant papers, aggregating secondary data, as well as collecting and analyzing data from practical sources.
